CHALLENGER TRAVELLER 4/5th JULY
On the week end 4th/5th July, the Challengers are coming to town.
Why? to compete in the fourth round of the 2009 Scottish Traveller Series. Fresh from some intense racing at Strathclyde Park (SOCC) battle will be resumed on our fine water and with only one event after this, the chips are down.
We will be entertaining our guests in usual Venacher style, with our usual slick race management, awe inspiring safety, superior gastronomy and of course gorgeous assistants. (Never mind the scenery and wild things about the place, ospreys, pike, fishermen, lower leg biters etc. you get the picture.
Not only that but we have the first of a number of Sailability Come and Try It days, set up for the Sat. to introduce people of all abilities to our sport. Those attending will not only get to sail but can watch Sailability competition at National (Scottish) event level. We do hope to see a few top racers from south of the border showing off their skills and checking us out as both a club and venue.
